Billing & Insurance
H & H Optical and Hearing participates with most local and national insurance providers. We strive to make the billing process as seamless as possible and can directly process claims for a wide range of insurance plans. However, it is important to understand your specific coverage, including any restrictions on providers or services.
We accept Alberta Blue Cross and can process claims for various branches, including Seniors Optical Benefits, Alberta Aids to Daily Living (AADL) for hearing aids, and eyeglass benefits for low-income clients. We also work with Medavie Blue Cross for Veterans, covering both optical and hearing services. In addition, we process claims through Workers’ Compensation Boards (WCB) for multiple provinces, including Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. For Non-Insured Health Benefits (Indian Affairs), we submit claims through Express Scripts.
If you provide complete and accurate insurance information, we will submit claims on your behalf. Depending on your coverage, you may be responsible for co-payments, co-insurance, or deductible amounts.
